Arrival winter

Check-in time:  2 pm .

Due to the new road regulations, on the Winklmoosalm, the arrival is recommended before 16:00 hours. Should you arrive later, please inform us in advance. After your arrival at the permanent car park Seegatterl (in the valley) please call us +49 (0) 8640 97440 in order to discuss further instructions regarding the snow conditions . We will let you know if it’s safe to drive to our hotel or if it’s necessary to park your car and we will pick you up.

You can drive to the hotel by yourself under the following conditions :

– snow-free road

– Winter tires on the vehicle

– Snow chains available in case of emergency

If you are arriving by bus, we will pick you up at the bus stop Seegatterl.

If you prefer to rent skis or book a ski course, please do not hesitate to contact the ski-rental station Intersport in Seegatterl directly after your arrival. You will not be able to rent equipment on the Winklmoosalm.

Arrival summer

Check-in time:  2 pm – 6 pm. A late arrival is possible with prior notice.

Please note that there is a toll road to Winklmoosalm! Please have your booking confirmation at hand when you arrive at the toll station. Based on this booking confirmation you will not be charged any toll.  If you are arriving after 3 pm the toll booth will not be occupied. Please call us for further instructions! If you pay  the toll we cannot refund it!

Arrival by train

Coming from Germany your destination station will be Prien am Chiemsee. Whether from Berlin, Hamburg or Munich – fast connections and daily several departure times will be available for  you.

If you plan to arrive with the bus we will arrange a transfer for you from Reit im Winkl or Seegatterl. Please plan your trip ahead of time and let us know your arrival time.

Check-out

Check-out time:  11:00 am. We can arrange a late check-out in some circumstances, please ask us the day before your departure. Surcharges may apply.
